The former coachhouse of Loughbrickland House is part of a complex of buildings behind historic Loughbrickland House which include a restored barn, byres (awaiting restoration) and stables grouped around a picturesque gravelled courtyard. The Estate has been the property of the Whyte family since 1704 when Mary Purcell brought it as her dowry to her marriage with John Whyte then of Leixlip Castle, Co.Kildare (see link on the right).

The Coach House has been converted into two self-contained self-catering apartments to the highest standards of quality and comfort by local craftsmen using local materials. The apartments are named after local townlands.
